Solage Calistoga, California, Review
Solage Calistoga, located in the heart of California’s Wine Country, embodies the very essence of California cool. The décor is minimalist and sleek; the studios are large and comfortable, each with a secluded, outdoor sitting area; the grounds are immaculate, interspersed with a proliferation of stunning white camellias; the pools, with accompanying comfortable sun loungers, are large and lovely. Each room comes with a pair of cruiser bikes, perfect for exploring the hotel grounds and nearby areas.
Solage Calistoga is the place of utmost tranquility.
It is the hotel that is the perfect place to unwind – or, like the Americans like to say “to decompress” (love that word!)- after a long day of wine tasting in Napa Valley, one of California’s best wine regions: be it either by the side of a pool, or in their gem of a spa offering a variety of fabulous treatments with highly skilled therapists, or by indulging your taste buds at Solbar, one of the top restaurants in the area, serving delectable cuisine.
I am very fond of Solage Calistoga. I first fell in love with this hotel four years ago and it became permanently imprinted in my mind: I often caught myself day-dreaming of going back there one day! I finally returned to this hotel in May, and once again, I had the most wonderful stay! If you are ever visiting Napa Valley, Solage Calistoga is certainly a place you should strongly consider as your resting point for a couple of days (or more).
