The Prettiest Lunch at Petersham Nurseries

I have possibly found the prettiest restaurant in London! (In Richmond, to be a little more precise).

At Petersham Nurseries Cafe the experience is essentially of eating in a dreamy flower-filled garden. Surely you cannot ask for more on a lovely summer’s day or a balmy autumn afternoon? Of course, it going without setting this is the perfect venue for a romantic date!

Here, within a plant-filled glasshouse, seasonal dishes using the freshest ingredients and adorned with colourful edible flourishes are served to the buzzing clientele. Some plates are simply to pretty to eat!

The restaurant is hidden within the bohemian jungle of greenhouses and gardens of Petersham Nurseries. Founded over 10 years ago by the Boglione family, Petersham Nurseries has a new head chef at its helm, Damian Clisby, previously head chef at HIX Soho and Cotswold House. _DSC3935 copyWe went there for a leisurely Friday lunch, and loved every single minute there. Petersham Nurseries is a heavenly feast both for the eyes and the belly.
